DIRECTIONS to Belmont Plateau
Roosevelt Blvd US-1 south to Schuylkill Expressway take 76 east toward center city and immediately
merge into far right lane,
take the first exit (montgomery av.) and make a right at the bottom of the ramp, at the first right possible is
the first parking lot, park here if full continue to stay on the road and make rights for 2 more parking lots
around the fields.

follow I-95 S Entering Delaware Take exit 4A for DE-7 S toward DE-1 S/Christiana Mall Rd
Keep right at the fork to continue toward DE-1 S/DE-7 S and merge onto DE-1 S/DE-7 S
Continue to follow DE-1 S
Take the exit onto DE-1 S/US-13 S toward DE-1 S/Dover Beaches
Continue onto DE-1 S Partial toll road
Slight right at DE-12 W/Frederica Rd
Take the 2nd right onto DE-12 W/W Front St
Continue to follow DE-12 W
Turn left at Rd 385/Chimney Hill Rd
Turn right at Rd 384/Killens Pond Rd Destination will be on the left
Directions to Lorimer Park
From intersection of Pine Rd. & Bloomfield Rd.
on one side of pine rd is bloomfield on the other side name changes to Moredun Rd. (west side of pine rd)
follow this road about 1/2 mile and parking lot is on the left .
Directions to Nationals will be given out after CYO season.

WELCOME TO OUR WEBPAGE
The Philadelphia CYO cross country program is the largest youth cross country program in the
nation with over 1300 athletes! Runners from the program regularly go on to compete at the
regional and national level. The program has produced numerous national championship teams.
The program is open to any boy or girl grades kindergarten through 8 who is a Philadelphia
Archdiocesan parish member. NO experience is required. Competition is held in four age groups.
for 2011 season
Pre -Novice Kindergarten through 3rd grade
NOVICE Born in 2001 or 2002 (must be in at least 4th grade)
MINOR Born in 1999 or 2000
CADET Born in 1997 or 1998 or on or after 9/1/1996
Pre-Novice run 2000 meters (Approx. 1 1/4 miles)
Novices and minors run 3000 Meters (Approx. 1.8 miles)
Cadets run 4000 Meters (Approx. 2 1/2 miles)
All meets are run at Belmont Plateau in Fairmount Park just off the Montgomery Dr. exit of the
Schuylkill Expressway in Philadelphia on Sundays in September and October. First races start at
1:00pm and proceed from youngest to oldest.
(There is a voluntary post season open to any runner who wants to go on and compete on a
regional and possibly a national level)

Saturday November 19th, National Championship Meet in West Virginia
